We love a good smoothie bowl, not only because they are yummy and healthy, but they are fun to decorate too.
This crazy monster is my 7 year olds masterpiece.
Here’s how we made our monsters:
- Blend together 1 frozen banana, 1 cup mango or pineapple, with 1 1/2 cups frozen spinach.
- Start off with a very small amount of liquid, 1/4 cup orange juice or coconut milk.
- Add a little more liquid if you have to but the point of a smoothie bowl is to have your smoothie be thick.
- If your smoothie is too thin, add more frozen fruit or spinach to thicken it.
- Once your smoothie is well blended and thick, transfer to bowls and decorate with fruits, nuts, seeds, or granola.
