Spooky Sprouts

Brussels get a bad wrap, but done right, they are a delight! 
This recipe rivals the best sprouts that I’ve had in restaurants. 🤤
My kids scarfed their spooky veggie bowls! 

Here’s what I did:

  • Toss:
    • 1 pound of trimmed and halved brussel sprouts with 1/4 cup raw cashew pieces,
    • 1 Tbsp sesame oil (evoo works too),
    • 1 Tbsp soy sauce (or coconut aminos),
    • 1 Tbsp of maple syrup,
    • 1 Tbsp of sweet chili sauce
  • Add salt + garlic powder to taste. 
  • Spread evenly on a sheet pan and roast at 425° for 18-20 minutes.
